TRINITY ARGUMENT: This passage teaches that since all the "godhead" dwells
in Christ, Christ must be deity.
Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches
of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit
in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts
by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the
breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know
the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that
YE MIGHT BE FILLED WITH ALL THE FULNESS OF GOD
Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be
partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Heb 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling,
consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of
our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have
tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
Heb 12:10 For they (Our Fathers) verily for a few days chastened us after
their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his
holiness.
The inheritance of the saints, of the heavenly calling, of Christ, of the
Holy Spirit, and of his holiness. And we are to be filled with all the fulness
of God. Yet, no one claims that this makes us equal with God, or that we are God.
Eph 3:19 ....filled with all the fulness (plerowma) of God (theos).
Col 1:19...that in him should all fulness (plerowma) dwell (katoikeow);
Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth (katoikeow) all the fulness (plerwoa) of the Godhead (theoteetos) bodily.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are
clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal
power and divine majesty; so, that they are without excuse:
2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that
pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath
called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great
and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
kefalee; the head. kefalee is the Greek word for head, and theos,they-os; the
Greek word for God, deity. Any compound-word-form for Godhead should include
these words in the compound form. The only compound-forms dealing with
kefalee are kefalaiow, (kef-al-ahee-o-o); wounded in the head, and kefalis
(kef-al-is) the knob on the end of a stick (on which a scroll was rolled).
The word "Godhead" does NOT exist in either the Hebrew, or Greek scripture.
"the head (kefalee) of Christ (cristos) is God (theos)."
